Erica’s journey into the world of media officially began with her completion of a Bachelor of Arts in Television Production from Charles Sturt University in 1997.

Whilst still at university, Erica was invited by the 7 Network to join the teams in Network News and Sport. Highlights from this period included segment producing for the 2000 Sydney Olympics and the 2002 Commonwealth Games.

In 2003 she began producing and presenting a weekly segment on Sydney Weekender. Over 17 years, Erica presented and produced over 750 stories for Sydney Weekender as well as co-ordinating sponsorships and unit managing the team.

At the same time Erica began a career in radio. Commencing as a breakfast news reader for the SCA network, and moving into hosting her own morning shows both in Sydney and Melbourne. Erica is also a professional voice over artist and her work can be heard on multiple stations across Australia.

A gifted and natural communicator, Erica is also a sought after event host, having hosted award nights, balls, gala’s and conferences for businesses, non-profit organisations, churches and community groups. Examples include the NSW Tourism awards, Variety: The Children’s Charity and The Ladies Long Lunch at Rosehill Gardens for SmoothFM.

In addition to her on camera and radio work, Erica has also been featured in Cosmo Magazine, made guest appearances on Sunrise morning television and received a nomination for best music video director at the Golden Guitar awards.

Her passion for writing and delivering behaviour change workshops began in 2015 when she facilitated workshops to over 20,000 students throughout NSW. Her passion for encouraging, equipping and empowering students to reach their full potential, combined with her experience and training has resulted in the creation and facilitation of her business, Communication Generation.
